The creators of ambiance have done it again. In a time where so much is globally insecure, Calex went against the odds and successfully opened an Experience Center in the heart of Rotterdam. The Experience center is a place where both retail and consumers can come to get inspired by all Calex has to offer, including Smart!
IoT House
To further promote their Tuya partnership Calex created an IoT house inside the center with a floorspace up to 40m2. In this IoT house all Smart items are connected to one another showing the full range potential and its simplicity in use. “It’s top quality, top functionality, top connectivity, but at a fair price. That’s what we want to show the consumer lighting industry” Will Smits Managing Director Calex Holland.
Future growth
The Tuya partnership enabled Calex to strengthen their position in the consumer lighting industry but also gave them possibilities for a broader product diversification and future growth. Together Tuya and Calex will continue developing smart products that enhance living comfort and ambiance at home and growing the customer base in Europe.
